Important info:

Five days (July 14-18th in 2025) of incredible sportscasting experiences including improving on-camera presence, reading a teleprompter, interviewing and photography, taught by current Emmy award-winning sports anchor/reporter Pat Doney from NBC 5 in Dallas.

Experience life as a TV sports reporter! Students will broadcast "on-air" each day, with past experiences including on-site reports at Dallas Cowboys headquarters and pregame coverage of a Texas Rangers game.

Interact with and learn from elite sportscasters, including broadcasters from NBC DFW, ESPN, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks.

The 2025 Pat Doney Sportscaster Camp is July 14-18th. Camp tuition for the week is $1,095.

The camp meets at TCU's Bob Schieffer College of Communication from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday (no overnight lodging available).

On Friday, July 18th, we will meet at Globe Life Field in Arlington in the afternoon to report at the Texas Rangers game -- and then watch the game as a group (more detailed information to come).

Beginning in 2025, there is no longer a "veteran" and "rookie" camp distinction -- returning and first-year students will work together instead.

Our 2024 camp sold out months in advance -- and we expect to sell out early again -- so those interested in attending should sign up ASAP!

Refund policy: 90% before 3/1/25, 50% before 4/1/25 (refunds can take up to two weeks to process). No refunds will be given after 5/1/25.
